This is the way to celebrate holidays here in Costa Rica. (We experienced that too in Nicaragua.)
Minutes before the clock stroke Midnight there were fireworks going off all around us. As soon as the New Year hit, there was a burst of fireworks in the air. It continued for over an hour.
San Jose sits in the Valley, and we are a rare house that is 2 stories high, so we have views of the valley from almost all sides of our apartment. Nanc, Morgan and I watched in aw. It was so cool to see Fireworks ALL over the valley continuously go off.
